I’ve been answering questions about various things in the comments, and have found that to be a good way to address all topics people are interested in which might not fit into an article anytime soon. Consider scanning them, you may find something useful there.

I’ll try to keep articles shorter, writing more often instead.

“Russia’s only real allies are her army and navy.” – Tsar Alexander III (+1894)

People don’t often have this on their list when thinking about places to move to but they should, because when things get serious, only a strong military will save you.

Sure there might be plenty of small countries which might be attractive in one way or another, but what happens 10 years from now when a big bully takes them over, or forces their ideology on them? Latin America’s history is a sad litany of assaults coming from the US. It seems rather naive to hope that they won’t continue, or intensify as global tensions rise.

In this, Russia truly stands alone, for she comes as close to unconquerable as a country can, for reasons not well understood in the West.

Westerners who’ve moved here often mention, and I very much experience it too, – a sense of security, stability, and safety, safe in the sense that Russia has no neighbors or far flung enemies who could seriously threaten her militarily. It’s something I never thought about in past decades living here, but today, with regional war threatening the Middle East, race war threatening Europe, the US and China facing off over Taiwan, and civil war in the US, Russia seems like an island of calm in a raging sea, even with the ‘Ukraine’ conflict ongoing. Russia’s only serious potential threat would be China, with her much larger population, but China and Russia are the closest of allies these days. The sense of safety here is a real, palpable thing, and a real benefit of living here. Feeling on edge about what’s in store for the West? In Russia, you can relax.

You ask, if she is so mighty, why is much smaller Ukraine hanging on? For many reasons, for one thing, Russia is not fighting an all-out war because she is interested in keeping ‘Ukrainian’ infrastructure as undamaged as possible, both the parts which will become part of Russia, and those which won’t. Second, it isn’t just ‘Ukraine’ Russia fights, but a combined NATO, using the hapless ‘Ukrainians’ as cannon fodder – armaments production, financing, rebuilding damaged infrastructure, satellite communications, targeting, intel, training, etc. is being done by NATO. There are many more arguments from military types.

The bottom line is that ‘Ukraine’ is no indicator of what Russia’s military is capable of, and I want to spare your time, and explain some things you perhaps don’t know about why Russia is virtually unconquerable. The main reasons are:

  1. Her size
  2. The mindset of the military here and its history
  3. Cutting edge technology (addressed in preceding article)
  4. The stubbornness and patriotism of the population
  5. Economic autarky – especially energy
  6. Changes in technology favor land powers and hurt sea powers.
  7. Her Christian faith

Some of these need no explanation. Trying to make articles shorter, I’ll only address a couple.

Military mindset. – Many people don’t realize what a martial culture exists here, and how deeply engrained it is in the psyche. Since the beginning of the Russian state 1000 years ago she has been almost continually at war. Her flat open plains allowed her European heartland to be attacked and invaded from every possible direction, by Mongols, Turks, Poles, Austrians, British, Hungarians, Swedes, French, Germans . The latter two massive armies included large contingents from every imaginable nationality in Europe. The only way she survived was to develop powerful military traditions and attitudes, which make Russians renowned soldiers, ready to perform feats of mind-boggling bravery and stoicism, and die for their country. Darwin was a quack, but Darwinian is the right word to describe Russia’s military toughness.

It’s not just personal bravery, but professional competence. ‘Ukraine’ revealed that there is much to criticize in the Russian military, but also impressive achievement. But the key thing is the centuries old traditions – of manufacturing cutting-edge armaments, of training officers and fighting men, of maintaining a large standing army. Russia has been doing this on a world-class level since Peter the Great, that is, for 350 years, and there is great national pride in doing this well, with many brilliant generals, heroes, and battles to take inspiration from. She is in no way inferior to Prussia in this glorious history.

A tweet posted today.

As a journalist, I’ve had to cover Russia’s military parades on Red Square, which if you haven’t seen, are stunning, and have compared them to other countries’ and it’s not even close. Russians are so much better at this. Wars aren’t won on parade grounds, but in this case they reflect of the superiority of her martial tradition.

A recurring theme in these articles is how incorrect much of what is taught about Russian history is in the West. For example, the Russian military was not defeated in WW1, and was poised to deal Germany a knockout blow in the Spring of 1917 when she was collapsed from within by a color revolution. I’ll write about the revolution some other time, but trust me on this, it’s true. Russia also owes much of her WW2 victory to men born and raised, especially the officers, before the ravages of Communism. It is not to Communism that Russia owes that success but rather despite it. It is due to the Communist disaster that the Germans came very close to winning.

ZOG media makes much of the heroism of ‘Ukrainian’ fighting men, and I too find it impressive. And therein lies another lie which needs to be untangled. Those aren’t ‘Ukrainians’, they’re Russians! There is not now, nor ever has been, a ‘Ukrainian’ ethnicity. Their heroism shows how Russians fight. I use quotation marks for a reason. So many journalists who take Russia’s side in the conflict fall into this error. Subject for a future article – moving on.

Much is made of Russia’s nuclear arsenal, but I’m skeptical. Even in all-out war, the logic of mutually assured destruction holds, and it is not at all clear that going nuclear would make any sense to Russian leadership if faced with defeat on the battlefield. They like to threaten for political points, but pulling the trigger is another matter entirely. The main value of nukes, and it is a huge one, is to deter anyone else from using theirs against you.

Stubbornness of the population – Even if by some unlikely chance invaders managed to defeat the military, they would then have to occupy this enormous country, and fight for it city block by city block with an armed populace willing to die. It would be a nightmare, and the ongoing guerilla war would likely be more than any invading army could manage. And even if this were overcome, Russians simply would not cooperate. One reason Communism didn’t work very well here was because the people engaged in widespread passive-aggressive behavior, which they developed into an art form, seeming to comply with its absurd demands, but resisting all the way. The pedantic and orderly East Germans were much better at Stalinism then the Russians ever were. This behavior came back with a vengeance during Covid. I pity the occupying regime dealing with that.

Russia and America are similar in their impregnability. America has two oceans, a tough fighting mentality (the white people anyway, though not as tough as Russians), and an armed population. Both can fall only through internal subversion, currently at an advanced stage in America. If Kamala is installed (I pray not), it may well be over for her. Nice to know there is a good place to move to if that happens.

I recently stumbled across an interesting short article on Twitter about how changes in technology now favor land powers over sea powers, due to inexpensive guided munitions. Worth a look – also from a good account promoting the idea of moving to Russia. Gone are the days when sea power England or the US could force their dominance with a fleet. Russia could sink the entire US navy within a couple of hours with submarine launched missiles. More to the point, the tiny Houthis can close the red sea, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

The banner with Christ has become the most popular and ubiquitous battle flag in the conflict in Ukraine. It is Russia’s oldest battle flag, going back 800 years. The documentary mentioned below discusses its meaning at length.

Russia’s Christian faith – It’s a serious military asset. It differs from Christianity in the West in that it is completely aligned with a sense of national identity, and in times of crisis, it unifies the people and the fighting men in a way Western Christianity cannot, anemic and divided as it is among so many denominations, most of them a parody of Christianity. If you are a believer, you should know that there are many examples in Russian history when the nation fasted, repented, and prayed before entering battles against hopeless odds – and won. Russian Christianity teaches that this is due to intervention by God and the heavenly hosts. As a believer myself, I think this is true. Finally, the demons who run US foreign policy have made it a priority to attack and weaken Orthodox Christianity in Russia. Why? Because they understand its power, both spiritual and practical (and hate Christ).

(Outside Moscow, and very impressive, with one of the biggest WW2 museums in the world next to it.)

This is a very good Russian documentary on Rumble with English subs about how Christianity is spreading rapidly among troops the ‘Ukraine’, and how it radically increases their will to fight.

Russia is as close to impregnable as a country could possibly be, and in our age of war and rumours of war, this is profoundly reassuring. For people looking for a land truly safe from the predations of Christ-hating elites gone mad, Russia is the only country which can gaurantee that with raw military power, which is the only thing which matters in a fight.

An ending quote to mirror the one above:

Remind me, how many divisions does the Pope have?” – Stalin after WW2, discussing the influence of the Vatican.

Let me know if you think this was too long. I’m trying, I really am. It was made longer by all the interesting pics and videos, of which, on this subject there is an inexhaustible supply. Here are a couple more.

PS – Some of the images above are from a very good Russian Christian meme channel. They do a good job combining good quotes from Orthodox saints, most of them Russian, often with excellent Russian Christian art, much of it from the 19th c., largely unknown in the West. They convey very well the essence and flavor of Russian Christianity, crucial to understanding the Russian psyche, and would be of interest to Christians of all denominations, and others. On Twitter and Telegram, especially their older posts. They stopped posting to Telegram a few months ago. I know the people running this, and will urge them to resume on Telegram.

Putin invaded Ukraine and not San Francisco.

Ukraine is more Christian than Russia and does not have Europe’s largest Muslim population.

Putin is in fact on video praising both Muslim and Buddhist values as integral to Russia.

Russia also has Europe’s largest Ashkenazi population. Putin has accurately described Russia as a multi-racial and multi-religious empire.

White men should make decisions based on data and not religious iconography.

Putin’s is creating graves of Orthodox men on both sides. That is the reality and feel-good pictures of Rusisan Christians doesn’t change that FACT.

not a big fan of the abrahamic religions, especially martial in nature but when i think of russia, i think of what richard pryor said after performing at a prison, when he talked about going in to support the brothers and after performing there, he came to the conclusion, thank god we have prisons.

well thank god we have russia is my conclusion after living in america for 63 years. my father was stationed in the south pacific for 4 years during ww2. he always had a very dim view of our government and made sure i was aware of the nefarious nature of our foreign policy and military adventurism. he told me in no uncertain terms that it was russia that won ww2 and what they were teaching me in school was a load of horseshit.

my father passed on in may 2000 and shortly before he did he expressed concern that george w. bush would be elected, which he saw as a grave danger. i tried to put his mind at ease, and told him, “don’t worry dad who’s going to vote for an idiot like that”, attempting to ease his mind. to tell the truth that’s what i actually thought but i thought it was sad that it troubled him on his death bed.

when bush “won” i watched the election stolen in my home state and that began my red pill journey, as the country was taken over in pnac coup and slowly devoled into the hideous zioneocon empire we have today. they began their war on the world, right here, in their own backyard with the controlled demolition of the world trade center beginning their war of terror upon the rest of the world.

the citizens united ruling insured that money had free speech and allowed aipac to in essence buy our government and morph it into a zionist supremacist police state starting with the patriot act, operating at the behest of a foreign government representing the most brutal and ugly form of jewish supremacist, in the illegal occupation of palestine.

the roots for this were laid long ago, but the speed of the transformation astounds me and most people are oblivious to this, having been slow boiled and gas lighted at the same time. i am an outcast in my own country now and pretty much shunned by my family, who are tired of my efforts to shake them from their somnambulist walk off a cliff.

my dear father, i now fully understand your solemn warning but i have good news for you, in exactly the same time our country descended into an orwellian police state, russia rose from the dead and is now in a position to place a stake in the heart of this dark empire and this time they’re going to finish ww2 once and for all. edgar cayce is looking like a prophet after all.

thank god we have russia, if i was a young man i’d be learning russian right now.

Don’t forget the impressive US victories against Panama and Grenada.

Perhaps more to the point is ship replacement if the US starts a war to try to break up China. The alliance with the Philippines is a good idea given that they have a ship building capacity of .8% of world capacity which is many times that of the US.

The US allies, Japan and South Korea, at 46% nearly equal China’s 47% of ship building. That would mean that the USA would have to borrow from Japan and South Korea to pay them for the ships. donthomson1@hotmail.com

  7. Ukrainians are Russians

Ok. Well how do you explain the remarkable enmity between the 2 sides? You can talk about Victoria Nuland until you’re blue in the face, but even that fat cow couldn’t manufacture the amount of ethnic hatred I keep seeing in this conflict. Which brings me to my second question. Let’s say a deal is brokered a ceasefire is reached. Does Russia think it can have friendly relations with its neighbor going forward? Will trained sheep operate the Mars Rover one day?

  8. When on occasion a bit of truth leaks out even though he says the ‘US’ and doesn’t mention Jewish control of America.

Truly amazing answer by former French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin to a student who asks him if the EU will ever be independent from the US.
In his response he calls the current situation one of “tutelage of the U.S. over Europe”, mostly via NATO whose “European pillar” he calls “incredibly weak”.
He says this is a “gigantic issue” because Europe cannot “hope to live between the US and China” if it doesn’t gain its independence and its “political sovereignty”. In particular he says that in the current situation it makes no sense for Global South countries to speak to Europe “if the decisions are to be made in Washington”.
He also believes that current plans to enlarge the EU “will only make the situation ever worse and will reinforce even more this link of dependence”. He said he’d been “very struck” when he was France’s Foreign Minister in a previous EU enlargement round to see that “most states joined the EU in fact for the purpose of strengthening their links with NATO and that their primary objective was NATO… In their mind it was the protection, the umbrella given by the United States.”
I think this is the first time – to my knowledge – that a former French PM so directly admits that EU is not an independent entity, but instead under US tutelage.

Of course, joining NATO doesn’t offer protection. Just bribes for the collaborator elites.
The Cold War is over. Russians pose zero threat. Ukraine happened cuz Jews who control the US provoked Russia to no end.

Granted, it would be interesting to see…

Suppose all the sane, normal, sanely conservative or liberal(not capital L-liberal) whites moved to Russia and left behind a EU that is totally white woke and diversity.

In 50 yrs, Russia could be flourishing while EU turns into hell hole.

The War in Ukraine Is Already Over—Russia Just Doesn’t Know it Yet
    By Paul Schwennesen
    September 5, 2024

Wars end long before armistices are signed. A war’s end, after all, is a matter of will, of spirit—and popular will is only haltingly, grudgingly reflected in the political machinery of peace talks.

Though it may seem astonishingly premature to say so, my impression after returning from the Russian front is that the war in Ukraine is over and that the powers that be haven’t realized it yet. In the Kursk salient, at least, I can personally attest to the eerie, almost surreal inversion of spirits between the people of Ukraine and Russia. The moral scales have now firmly settled on the side of the Ukrainian defenders, and it is far likelier that Russia itself splinters into its constituent republics than that Ukraine falls to its erstwhile invaders.

    http://reason.com/2024/09/05/the-war-in-ukraine-is-already-over-russia-just-doesnt-know-it-yet

  11. History shows us that armed men carrying pictures of Jesus are not harbingers of freedom, democracy, human rights, or other values of civilization. The poor Russians, forcibly gone cold turkey for so long, seem to be making up for it by mainlining their “opium of the people” in one, big final spasm. Hopefully they’ll collectively recognize sooner rather than later that there’s nothing there but the same old smoke and mirrors of every state’s most effective compliance assurance arm. As the Roman philosopher Seneca advised us long ago, religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.

  12. One question? Why would Russia and her people want Americans to move to their country? Or any other Westerner for that matter? We thoroughly messed up our own countries. I could see where the Russians would not want such weak-minded morons messing up theirs.

In any case, when I was a little girl, at the height of the Cold War, I went to the World’s Fair in Canada and visited the Russian pavilion. The Russians there were so gracious, so friendly, and so proud of their country and the Russian accomplishments. They beamed with pride when visitors complimented them.

That’s when I knew that American propaganda against Russia were mainly lies. From reading or watching it, you would assume the Russians hated Russia almost as much as American propagandists did.

Rather than flood Russians with more foreigners, I hope the Russians have more children and the rest of us get our collective acts together and not only take back our own countries but get rid of this leftist lunacy in our country altogether.

As to being a neighbour of Russia, let’s read the beginning of William G. Bray: Russian frontiers: from Muscovy to Khrushchev, Bobbs-Merrill, 1963, pp 11, 13:
’” For five centuries, Russians have been seeking a final frontier which they never find.” This statement by A. L. Kennedy in a lead article in the January, 1947, issue of The Quarterly Review sums up our problem with Russia. … A brief study of five centuries of Russian history makes it clear that Russia’s aggression today follow the same pattern that has guided her every maneuver since approximately 1462 AD. …This territorial hunger can be compared to the farmer who, when queried as to why he was acquiring so much land, said: „I don’t want much land, I just want that which joins my farm.”

  16. @p38ace

But is that any more true for Russia than any other country?

  17. Jake11 says:

If only the Russians were also antisemitic, it could be Heaven on earth.

  18. I agree with the author that the Russian military is pretty formidable, although I’m skeptical about his claim that the Russian military was poised to deal a devastating blow to the German Army in 1917, before political events undermined further Russian resistance. IIRC, Germany made knocking Russia out of the war in 1917 its principal objective, while hoping that the resumption of unrestricted submarine warfare would force Great Britain to severely curtail its war effort. And the World War II Red Army, while quite effective, took losses that might have been unsustainable in a western country.

I live in France. The Russian Army is much, much better than the French Army. But my security fears are not that the Spanish, the Italians, the Swiss, the Germans, or even the Russians are going to overrun the country and set up an occupation government. My security concerns derive from the French government’s unwillingness to police its “migrant population” as they descend increasingly into lawlessness. The Russians are probably better at that task, too, but its not fundamentally a military problem.

It’s not to be found in Seneca. It’s Edward Gibbon (1776):

“The various modes of worship which prevailed in the Roman world were all considered by the people as equally true; by the philosopher as equally false; and by the magistrate as equally useful. And thus toleration produced not only mutual indulgence, but even religious concord.” (Edward Gibbon, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Vol I, (New York: The Modern Library, 1995)

Russia’s way of defensive war is a part of the reason why its neighbors do not want to be a part of Russia. Russia treats them as buffer zones, Russian army retreats to the East taking all food with them, then places like Ukraine are run over by the enemy and have a famine, and then they are run again over by Russians assuming Russia manages to strike back. So it happened with Sweden: Swedes went to Poltava, but actually they lost to Ukrainian partisans before the battle in Poltava, they had lost too much power. So it happened with Napoleon. Napoleon never lost a single battle to Russians, Ukrainian partisans destroyed the supply routes, but border countries were run over, including even Moscow itself. The same with Germans: Russian army withdrew and left Ukraine and Baltic countries without protection. That is, Russia is a country that will not defend its border areas, the army withdraws and lets the enemy destroy the border areas, even its capital. That is not good defense. It is not only a question of who wins at the end. Russian losses in wars are too big. Nobody wants to be one of those border areas. They do not feel safe. Russia did not even protect Kursk now.

A man must believe in something greater than his own mind. Whether you regard religion as “true” or not, and I’m not making the case either way, the truth of the matter is that religion, or any strong belief that an individual may have, has the potential to be magnified “a hundredfold” if one’s faith or belief is strong enough. This is what the Russians have, and this is what the West fears b/c it’s become a faithless sewer. When so-called elites are deliberately chosen for their mediocrity and willingness to tow the party line, the end is in sight. “Personal freedom” without responsibility means a one way ticket to destruction. The Law of Love states that man must first give of himself without expectation of reward, if he expects to receive love. Every act of self-sacrifice sustains the universes.

Do they think these powerful Jewish oligarchs and Chabad rabbis can’t end the war if they wanted?

All serious analysts know Putin could win the Ukraine war in 30 days, by blowing the 14-odd bridges across the Dnieper, which would block nearly all NATO-Ukraine weapons & manpower re-supply to the battle zone … but this is forbidden by the Jewish & other oligarchs still enjoying cross-border business deals, and Putin OBEYS them, because Russia winning the war quickly would mean
    – less profit for Jewish and other oligarchs in both Russia & Ukraine
    – the end of mass genocidal killing of hundreds of thousands of Slavic white men, who are openly despised as meriting extermination per direct words of some Jewish leaders (see below)

Top political person on Russia TV discussing Ukraine war is Jew Soloviev, linked to Jewish oligarchs and Chabad rabbis who link to Zelensky … funny, no?

  35. I am confused about the reporting from Kursk. Initially we were told that Ukrainians invaded with a few thousand troops (in first few minutes? hours?), then it turns out they actually invaded with 20,000 soldiers. Now we’re told that 16,000 soldiers have already been KIA. So a few thousand that are left over seem to be still causing a bit of bother there. Then we’re told that Russians have sealed the border trapping all these troops in Kursk and that they’re all waiting to die. So is Russia operating some kind of one way door at the border where more Ukrainians are allowed to enter Kursk, as apparently they are, sending reserves in to maintain significant numbers of troops there, but not allowing any to escape, or is this border now hermetically sealed? I mean I know there’s propaganda on both sides but it’s hard to get to the truth of the matter. So is Russia lying hoping to dissuade more Ukrainians from going to Kursk, where their death is assured in this “hermetically sealed” region once they get in? At the rate Russians are killing them, it is surprising there are any Ukrainian soldiers left in Kursk, or anywhere. And the Ukrainians still seem to have some surplus soldiers to send to Africa to engage in various civil wars there. Why aren’t they all in the Ukraine defending their country or invading Russia?

He says this is a “gigantic issue” because Europe cannot “hope to live between the US and China” if it doesn’t gain its independence and its “political sovereignty”. In particular he says that in the current situation it makes no sense for Global South countries to speak to Europe “if the decisions are to be made in Washington”.

    thanks Priss.

Yeah, Europe “cannot hope to live between the US and China” but you know who can and who does? Russia does. He seems to forget that.

But first Europe and especially the US have to drop down a notch or two before they can play a positive role in the new world constellation emerging.

  39. @Bragadocious

It’s not ethnic hatred. Anti-Russian Ukrainian’s are a self-loathing, foreigner-worshiping people whose main export is its women into foreign prostitution. They’d rather be at the bottom of western society than the top of Russian society because they’re unsophisticated people who continue to believe in western economic fairytales well after western people themselves have become disillusioned.
This happens when you humiliate yourself time and again before bullies, then double down on it because you’re too ashamed/low consciousness to learn anything. They’re the ultimate pick-me girls – people will use them but nobody respects them, including themselves.

Another feature of this is youth, and young people are by their nature egocentric, gullible and idealistic. A 25 year old entering this war today was 11 years old when Victoria Nuland overthrew the country and starting flooding even more ideological sewage into the system. I wouldn’t be surprised if 75% of Ukrainian people under 30 are actual neo-Nazis at this point.

I’ve been living in Russia for 10 years now and this resurgence of Christianity is way overstated in English language, right-wing media, to the point that I’d call it wishful thinking. Orthodox Christians are a small sliver of society and most of those who take it seriously are grim old ladies dressed like peasants. Russians are overwhelmingly atheist and if they profess any Christian feeling at all, it is akin to someone who attends Easter mass once a year. People have no religious education here at all, so when they are Christian, it’s in a simple and superficial way. For example, they believe that baptism gives a child an angel (that’s basically the full depth of meaning) along with various superstitions about icons, mirrors and wind. I say this as an American who went to Roman Catholic schools my entire childhood and received all the sacraments.

There is also a joke I’ve heard, that even the Patriarch is secretly a Jew. It is said contemptuously in reference to the corruption in the church and that all the post-soviet oligarchs having been Jewish.

Maybe it helps (?) hearing from insiders and true russian patriots about what it is really like being constantly hunted by the state for patriotism (being called “Nazis”), sitting in a russian hellrot-prison or how Oligarchs regularly bribe the Kremlins/Putins politics, the Russian FSB and Army regularly run drug-traficking operations as we speak in the Donbass, sick-fuck commanders each day sell intel to the West and eliminate their subordinates if they speak out against the all pervasive corruption by ordering them into suicide-attacks against entrenched ukrainian positions, like last week happened to the whole platoon of Dmitry Lysakovsky (as he himself describes post-humously in his last-minute video testament):

3.) Its leader is coldly rational and not a balloon head like the DC crowd. He looks after Russians.
4.) Russia does not hand out freebies to shitbird immigrants
5.) Russian cities are clean. Western cities are garbage strewn dung heaps.

In the US, a crowd will gather and look at an assault on the street for example. What will they do ? film with their cell phones !

In Russia, the perpetrator will get a thrashing and beg for the Police to come arrest him. They will also rough him up but with this difference, it wont be a perpetual nigger criminal and the Police wont get reamed for busting his head up with a club. Hence, in this and other law breaking matters, the Police are respected and people dont fuck around !

It is a striking fact that Dindoos on a US beach tend to chimp out for no apparent reason. In Russia, Dindoos on a Russian beach are remarkably well behaved. How can that be ?

The alliance with the Philippines is a good idea given that they have a ship building capacity of .8% of world capacity which is many times that of the US.

Interesting point. The argument could be made that FDR won the war against Imperial Japan (1942-1945) during his first two terms, when he established or improved several shipyards on the US West Coast. Those shipyards repaired / replaced / augmented to the US aircraft carrier fleet. That aircraft carrier fleet destroyed the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN).

The original, pre-FDR, US Navy contingency plan for responding to an IJN assault was to gather its capital ships, armed with high caliber naval rifles and heavily armored. The gathered fleet was to have proceeded to Japan and, on the way, destroy the IJN. That was essentially a repetition of the Imperial Russian strategy that led to the Russian fleets’ destruction in 1905. Japanese carriers and Long Lance torpedoes would likely have destroyed the US fleet.

Fortunately or otherwise, the armored/naval rifle ships that were to defeat the IJN were destroyed or disabled during the Pearl Harbor raid, 1942-12, and the US turned to its aircraft carrier force, which did destroy most of the IJN. The nucleus of the US aircraft carrier force was at sea when the IJN raided Pearl Harbor; this was so unlikely as not to be a coincidence, IMHO.

So if the US lacks the manufacturing basis, and European manufacturing is in decline thanks to the “sanctions”, how exactly does the US Federal government intend to win the wars it has started? Of course, if WW IV will really be fought with paleolithic level stone axes, the metal based manufacturing won’t be of much importance.

The US empire is of the suzerainty kind. A suzerain is a country that rules client countries through local governments. The rule is ordinarily enforced by “suggestions that the client state do such and such lest the suzerain deploy military forces, or perhaps simply tells other client states to boycott the client state’s businesses. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/suzerain

So what happens to suzerains after the initial conquest?

    a) They become corrupt and unable to rule the conquered areas.
    b) They are replaced by a much less corrupt system that can last for centuries but eventually fails, as have all human works thus far.

Suzerainty has the advantage of reducing both administrative costs and military costs. Further, it can leave the problem of border defense to the client countries. The early Roman Empire was a suzerainty. Strictly speaking there was no Empire back then, just the Roman Republic and its conquests. Rome had a separate treaty with each conquest. Rome collected tribute, and the locals handled their borders.

The US now has suzerainty over the EU. As with the Roman Republic after the defeat of its principal rival, Carthage, the US is overwhelmed with immigration, minority rule by an internally divided aristocracy, and is facing a Money vs. Force crisis. At present (2024-09) former President Obama represents Money (Obama having seized power in 2014 [1] and subsequently acted to preserve his campaign contributors, the large banks), and the Red States (RS) represent Force (in that they could unilaterally withdraw from the US federal government). RS withdrawal would be analogous to Caesar’s crossing the Rubicon (a small river), and the US federal government would be analogous to the Senatorial reaction to crossing the Rubicon.

Under the Roman Empire, the conquests became provinces and Roman forces took over border enforcement. This resulted in gradual infiltration of provincials and “multi-cultural” barbarians into Roman areas. The result contributed heavily to the Crisis of the Third Century [2] ) and the later (AD 340s) failure of the Western Empire under Justinian (which plague killed about 50% to 60% of the Roman Empire’s population because it struck both city and countryside, and drastically reduced Empire’s military forces, and marked the start of the Late Antique Little Ice Age and its plagues ) [3].

3] The post-Justinian Barracks Emperors apparently arose because the pre-Crisis system of appointing militarily inexperienced Senatorial Imperators to control the Legions (gee, just like FDR or Biden/Obama) could not win given the much reduced Legionary forces at their command. The Senatorial Imperators were displaced by long service military leaders who could win given then existing Legions, few in number though the Legionary soldiers were.

I sometimes browse comments in Moon of Alabama, and I noticed someone shared a Telegram update on the Russel murder case:

Russia’s Investigative Committee identifies suspects in murder of Sputnik’s Russell Bentley
The Russian Investigative Committee has wrapped up the preliminary investigation into the murder of Russell Bentley, 64, a US-born Donbass volunteer and Sputnik correspondent.

Suspects involved in the criminal case were identified as Russian Armed Forces servicemen Vitaly Vansyatsky, Vladislav Agaltsev, Vladimir Bazhin, and Andrey Iordanov. The individuals have been accused of felonies under Russia’s Criminal Code, including the use of physical violence and torture, which resulted in the death of the victim through negligence, as well as the concealment of an especially grievous crime.

On April 8, Russian military servicemen Vansyatsky, Agaltsev, and Iordanov used physical violence and torture against Russell Bentley in Donetsk, which led to the correspondent’s death. On the same day, Vansyatsky and Agaltsev blew up a VAZ 2115 car with Bentley’s body with TNT explosives.

On April 9, Bazhin, a serviceman from the same military unit removed Bentley’s remains from the scene on the instructions of Vansyatsky in a bid to conceal the heinous crime. The accused have been provided with the materials of criminal case. Subsequently, the case will be transferred for the indictment approval and court hearings.

Bentley went to Donbass in 2014 and joined the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) militia using the call sign Texas. He said that he admired the courage of the Donbass defenders and called Donetsk his home. The US-born volunteer was granted Russian citizenship and began collaborating with Sputnik as a correspondent. He was known as an outspoken supporter of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.

In mid-April, Bentley went missing in Donetsk. On April 19, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of Rossiya Segodnya, Sputnik’s parent media group, announced that the 64-year-old had died. An investigation into the circumstances of Bentley’s death was launched by the Russian Investigative Committee.

    https://t.me/rocknrollgeopolitics/12785

According to German reporter Alina Lipp, who was friendly with Russel and his wife the attackers believed he had money, and they tortured him thinking he would pay. He seemed to have died from a heart attack after being tazered. I think Marat Khairullin suspected them of being ex-Wagner who joined the Russian army after their contracts ran out.

    Haxo,

Two people come to my mind who would disagree with you concerning your assessment of Russia and the “conditions” there. The first is a Russian emigrant (Ilya), who was a loan officer at a local branch of one of the largest US bank conglomerates. He was working where I used to live, about 90 miles west of Chicago, Illinois. His command of the English language was impeccable. He could speak English as well as me, with practically no accent.

I had gone in there, applying for a “signature loan” and sat down with him to discuss my application. I told him of my hobby of amateur radio (ham radio) and how I conversed with Russian ham radio operators (“hams”) frequently, usually using Morse Code. I told him of the hundreds of Russian hams that I have had contacts with over the years. I asked him if he would give me an honest answer, if I asked him a question. He said that he certainly would.

I asked him if the average Russian was better off under communism or were they better off now (this was in 2019). He told me that they were better off under communism, BUT that was changing, since MR. Putin had shut down the Russian oligarchs, who were robbing the country and its citizens blind. He said THAT was the reason why Mr. Putin’s ratings were so high – that Putin actually cares about the average Russian. More on my experience with Ilya later…

The second example that I’d like to share with you (and to any Russia “haters” who may be reading this) concerns another “ham” friend of mine, who has lived just outside Moscow for over 6 years. He is Swedish and he is fluent in at least 3 languages – English, Russia and Swedish; I believe that he is also fluent in German. My Swedish ham friend, with whom I’ve had many radio contacts over the years, told me that he likes living in Russia and that they treat him very well. He has travelled all over the world, operating his ham radio from many countries. He most likely could live in practically any country that he would choose to. But he lives in Russia because he LIKES it there.

Getting back to Ilya, the loan officer that I sat down with at the bank branch office in northern Illinois – I told Ilya that I was thinking of flying to Russia, taking the Trans-Siberian railway all the way east to Vladivostok and then taking it all the way west to St. Petersburg, to visit with some of the many Russian hams that I met on the radio over the years, then taking the train back to Moscow,, flying to Sweden and spending a few weeks visiting my Swedish ham friends.

Ilya told me that he thought it was wonderful that I took such an interest in his home country. He then told me that he would give me some advice on my plans of visiting Russia. He told me that since I was not fluent in Russian, I might encounter difficulty in getting around, since most signs did not have English to go along with the Russian. He also said that many businesses in Russia do not accept foreign credit cards; they only deal with roubles. He said that as far as my personal safety was concerned, I would be at least as safe in Russia as I am in the USA.

Upon listening to Ilya’s unsolicited advice about the problems associated with travel in Russia, I decided to forgo the trip to Russia and instead, I spent 3 weeks in Sweden, where I was treated “like royalty.” At the end of my 3-week stay in Sweden, I did not want to come back home to the USA. The Swedes were so much more polite and courteous than my fellow Americans are. There is NO “road rage” or anything of that sort. Everyone there (the “genuine” Swedes, anyway) treats everyone else with respect and courtesy.

So, I am back here in the USA and since I was not able to spend time in Russia, I continue to use my ham radio hobby and let my radio signal “do the visiting.” By the way, many of us “hams” exchange paper cards that are on the order of post cards. They serve as written proof that communication took place between the stations. Many of the cards that I have received from Russians contain very nice words to me. From reading what Russians have told me on their cards, I have come to the conclusion that Russians ARE THE SAME as Americans – they want to work, make friends, enjoy their hobbies and live IN PEACE.

    Thank you.

Linking Putin to International Jewry Financial Cartels and Rothchild, et al. is the very essence of Disinformation-that which is deliberately created to mislead and sell lies. Closely related to Gaslighting, which the entirety of your spiel consists of. Examples, testimonies, observations abound, as well as admittance by present and former Mossad operatives. Israel’s Use of False Flags in Global Terrorism
    September 14, 2013 AFP Archive 6

    By Michael Collins Piper

Those who believe that Israel is behind the alleged chemical weapons attack in Syria—hiding behind a “false flag” designed to implicate the Syrian government—have very good reason to believe in such a scenario.

In fact, as my book, Final Judgment, which documents the role of Israel’s Mossad in the assassination of John F. Kennedy, first pointed out at far back as 1994, the use of “false flags” by Israel’s Mossad to cover up its role in worldwide assassination conspiracies and other criminal activity had been utilized time and again: “Arabs,” “radical Muslims,” “the Mafia,” “right-wing extremists,” and even environmentalists, among others, have repeatedly taken the fall for crimes committed by the Mossad or carried out under its coordination.

The use of “false flag” operations by Israel and its Mossad has been documented repeatedly since the Jewish State first came into being.

What follows is an overview of some other notable instances in which Israel utilized “false flags” in its international criminal endeavors.

Well, Buster, I have worked on ships with the US Navy as recently as 10 years ago

What was your position, if I may ask? Mine was Chief Engineer, Maritime Administration and Department of Defense, to Navy surveying and spy ships, to roll on roll off (RoRo) large ships supplying materiel to U.S. Forces in the Middle East. Before, during, and after the latest Invasion, Operation Fabricated Bullshit.

  98. @Event Horizon

Another action of the type, “Throw Money At It”, and expect an outcome that is a total fantasy. I spent my life in the shipping business, in ship yards all over the World. In this sphere, America is inferior to Russian and China, as it is in so many other critical economic, military, and social parameters and spectra. AND, there is no making up the gap, which increases consistently with the passage of time.

  100. With the quickly forming alliance between Russia, China, North Korea and Iran, the U.S. Western Empire and Israel quake in rabid fear! Hail victory! Hail Russian President Vladimir Putin!

Query: Why do the Jews hate Putin? Answer: For two reasons.

First, Putin terminated the plundering of Russia in the 1990’s by the Western Empire (Jew-controlled) and mostly Jewish oligarchs in Russia.

Second, Putin poses a threat to the Jewish-controlled international banking cartel – similar to the threats posed by other enemies of Jewish money interests: Muammar Gadaffi (by introduction of the Gold Dinar), Saddam Hussein (by trying to replace the Petro Dollar) and Adolph Hitler (by bartering and basing the German Mark on the value of German labor rather than Jewish speculation).

Of course, the Western Empire and its media whores invented other reasons for their deathly demise; however, only the Jewish stranglehold on banking and the desire to maintain that stranglehold caused their destruction.

  101. @ComradePuff

I was baptized into the Greek Orthodox faith, and my wife, Catholic. We are not observant, as the majority of her relatives, both are deeply THEIST, and possess RELIGIOSITY. Orthodoxy is part of the woven fabric of Rus Culture and Heritage. It is a national Church. There is no way of separating the two.

If you notice, many soldiers hold prayer meeting, state openly their faith during operations, and a special military cathedral has been built. Putin specified that no one can serve in the Siloviki unless they are fully confessed and sincere Orthodox.

You might have confused Church attendance with individual(s) genuinely held deep belief in the whole of Orthodoxy.

Russian citizens can possess firearms, as in the US, and unlike most other parts of the world. The Afghans and Houthis have shown that a well armed citizenry can defeat even modern armies over time. Most of the anti-gun propaganda in the US comes because of this fact, not because the government cares about people killed in shootings. “An armed society is a polite society.” Robert Heinlein. I also agree with the Christian warrior idea. The New Testament, written by people who never met Jesus, depicts him as some sort of well-meaning pacifist. On September 1, 2004, one of the worst terrorist attacks in Russia’s history unfolded at a school in the small North Ossetian town of Beslan. Dozens of armed assailants stormed the school and captured more than 1,100 people — including more than 700 schoolchildren and relatives and friends who had come for a ceremony marking the first day of the new school year.

The resulting standoff ended 2 1/2 days later, but its resolution was the deadliest episode of the story. A handful of victims had been killed over the initial two days by the attackers, who were linked to an insurgency in neighboring Chechnya. But in the course of a few hours on September 3, several hundred more — most of them children — were killed during a chaotic battle as security forces stormed the school with the support of heavy weaponry

All three aircraft carriers based in Hawaii were out of port on the day of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour. It is a statistical impossibility that this happened by pure coincidence. It’s like Silverstein, his son, and his daughter all had appointments at a doctor on the very same day their place of work, the twin towers, were attacked. It is a statistical impossibility that all three members of a father-son-daughter trio had legitimate excuses to be out of work on that exact day when that very workplace was destroyed, especially when that workplace had been recently insured with a very high TIV.
The US and the UK were enforcing an unannounced blockade against Japan and were hoping for a desperate attack from that country, as an excuse for the US to enter the war. The US and UK had radar at the beginning of WWII, the Axis was only able to catch up later on. Besides, Japanese communication codes had been cracked before the war. Some part of the US military was certainly aware that the attack was coming, but that information was not relayed to the Army and Navy commanders in Hawaii. All in all, the big ships were left in port as bait while the carriers had been rushed away to safety.
Please update your incorrect information on the Pacific portion of WWII.

    Three options:
    For you I ‘d recommend the 1st.
    1.
The Great Leader in Kremlin knew months in advance of this desperate last ditch effort by crumbling Ukrainian military to postpone NATO defeat there.
They sent 20 000 their best troops into well prepared trap. At the moment they are being methodically exterminated by victorious Russian military. Of those 20 000 around 16000 are alerady dead. The 4000 remaining are mostly wounded, hard core Nazis and it’s their last stand. Besides, Russian military doesn’t want to use all their capabilities to destroy them immidiately. No need. And, The Great Leader wants to preserve those settlments where those last ditch defences are being mounted by desperate Ukies so the people can return in their homes and resume their normal lives.

I’d just skim through the 2nd if I were you.
    2.
This is a brilliant operation by Ukrainian Armed Forces showing utter incompetence, corruption and internal rot of Russian state.
It was executed by NATO standards and has long lasting strategic and political repercussion for the theatre.
It is a foothold for follow up operations deeper in Russian teritory as part of broad offfensive effort to clear all Russian forces from Ukraine. Namely, due to re-deployment of trooops from Donbas operational axis the pressure on Ukrainian defenders there has been lifted.
Very soon we’ll see an offensive effort by Ukrainians there to retake temporary lost ground.

The 3rd could be confusing for a proper Rusophile. Skip if the case.
    3.
This was a very well executed incursion by Ukrainian armed forces with two objectives, one operational and another of strategic level.
    1. Operational:
Relieve pressure on their troops in Donbas. It has been moderately successful.
    2. Strategic:
A RED LINE has been crossed without any repercusson. Top NATO conventional weaponry CAN be be used deep on Russian soil. We are entering a new phase of this war. Fighting, so far, has been only on Ukrainian soil. From now on it will extend to European part of Russia too.
NATO ultimate goal, at last. Better, even. Just slavic blood shed by top conventional weaponry.

  116. @anonymous

Almost everyone ignores this. Putin speaks against White Nationalism, which is White Survivalism. Putin wants to “de-Nazify” the world. Putin is surrounded by the Russian Jewish oligarchy. Putin wants to enforce antisemitism laws.

Putin is loved by many pro-survival Whites because he is a strongman, but his words in the Carlson interview did not sound like those of a Russian nationalist, in a racial sense.

I understand that Putin, like Trump, is surrounded by Jews. Are these men captives? Are they partially pawns? Are they captive of the circumstances that the Jews appear to be an intractable and immensely powerful fact of life?

My main question concerning this article is to question why this was published here. It’s blatant and ridiculous propaganda. As a reader of Sputnik and regular listener to Radio Moscow in my youth, those were far less fawning than this and other articles (Anglin) I have read here. I hope no one here is setting themselves up for a great fall by taking Kremlin money for disseminating Russian propaganda in the USA, but failing to register themselves as a foreign agent, as required by federal law. There are more crackdowns for this criminality, in the works. The enforcement is something I support as a Heritage American. If it were rightfully applied to Israel, it would do fantastic good for genuine ethnic America and the White survival cause.

The Wikipedia article about the author is unintentionally funny — it could’ve been written by the ADL or SPLC, maybe the DNC.

Putin is president of a multi-ethnic federation, so in that sense he is not an ethnic nationalist — but he can afford not to be, since there is no threat to the complete dominance of ethnic Russians in the Russian Federation — he is also not anti-white, which many Western societies seem to be at this point — some time ago I saw interesting commentary about this:

Putin and Xi are preceiving the West as a declining power. Their view is that the West is weak, stupid, infantile, hopelessly decadent and thoroughly parasitized by a mercenary virtual ‘elite’ class that seems more than happy to wage an internal war on the their own physical classes.

Where ‘their own physical classes’ means white people — elites in every Western nation are waging demographic war on the native white population.

Putin’s Nazi rhetoric around the SMO bothers me, but I think it’s meant mostly for Western consumption — and there are Ukrainian nationalist elements using Nazi symbols.

Putin isn’t ‘surrounded by Jews’, and I don’t recall hearing him express particular concern about anti-Semitism.

  127. I wonder if it is in the best interest of people taking Kremlin money to write these articles, to go ahead and flee to Russia this very day, and change citizenship?

I doubt it, though. A light sentence carried out in a low-risk American federal facility might be infinitely preferable to…

…being drafted and killed in the Ukraine.

… being tortured to confess to something politically expedient.

… spending years in a gulag for antisemitism, or falsely accused of espionage as a political hostage.

… being summarily executed as part of a de-Nazification operation.

    …etc., etc.

We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg of Americans cynically taking Russian money, writing and publishing articles like this one, and being indicted because they didn’t register as foreign agents. What about certain “veterans” financed by Arabian shekels? I’ve read a few pro-Chinese articles “somewhere” that I suspect were paid for by the CCP. It isn’t exclusively Russian money that some American writers have taken without informing the gullible readers, and whom will be imprisoned for it, as a result, in the near future.

These people knew better, but they took the money anyway.

Moral Americans don’t take money to influence other Americans on behalf on ANY foreigners or foreign interests. When these traitors don’t openly disclose these transgressions, it’s a form of treason, in my opinion. They would be stripped, whipped, tarred, feathered, and sent to their dirty foreign masters in a barrel if we had the leadership that cared about genuine Americans. The foreign governments you fawn over deserve no sympathy or moral support. They have no respect for you, whatsoever.

Let’s hold the government’s feet to the fire and make them also go after AIPAC and their recipients. The government has been even more guilty of collusion with a foreign power than these “influencer” traitors.

Meaning he only cared that their population was in decline when he started sending Christian Russians to their deaths.

Russia’s birth rate is at an all time low:
    https://fortune.com/europe/2024/09/10/russia-demographic-crisis-low-birth-rate-ukraine-war/

Russia is not a healthy model for the West. A totalitarian state with a declining birth rate is not the answer. You can’t claim a healthy culture when your women aren’t having children.

We need to face our problems as they are instead of idealizing a totalitarian state where they will literally drag you away in the night for criticizing the dictator in a forum like this one.

Analyze Russia for what it is and not through your feelings that the author is trying to exploit through religious iconography.

Here is some Christian iconography that the author left out:
Putin creates a graveyard of crosses every single day.

Putin is an ex-KGB atheist that pretends to be Christian for the crowds. It’s not Christian to kill your neighbors.

At the risk of being a sematic fascist, “Indefatigable” may be a more apt adjective. BTW, Colonel Baud has written an admittedly long article that strongly criticizes the IDF’s strategy as well as its “tactics.” But it is quite dispassionate in its analysis, without the “rhetorical flourishes” of those on this site: no globohomozioschlomoheebnaziausgeschnittfremdschaemen rhetoric like those who strive to be more haxoangmarkian than the last guy. In contrast to the IDF’s kill-’em-all counterinsurgency approach, Baud recounts a conversation with an SAS officer on how to handle the IRA’s infrastructure. This may be small consolation to the victims of IRA violence, but it undoubtedly took years if not decades to get a handle on them–and make most every gunman suspicious of the other guy. Anyway, the article appears in an Orthodox Christian site known as The Postil (www.thepostil.com). Once again, stay safe, Meneer.

This war started with Putin putting a Jewish oligarch in charge of the main front.

It was his Jewish chef turned billionaire private warlord.

When he was a chef for Putin’s military he was caught feeding the troops rotten meat.

Putin could have fired him on the spot for corruption but instead promoted him and helped him become a billionaire.

Putin has made Jewish oligarchs. That is a fact.

His chief propagandist is not only Jewish and wealthy but hides a male model son in London:
    https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-putin-allys-son-dodging-draft-modelling-london-1781618

Only a complete wackjob like yourself would still hold out for Putin somehow being against the Jews.

He made a speech in June where he praised the Jews for promoting high morals in the youth.

Put the crackpipe down already. Putin views Israel as a Russian outpost. It’s one of the few places outside of Europe where Russian is commonly spoken. Before the war he would make annual trips and put on the little party hat to show his submission. His pal Uncle Netty even made this banner for him:

Netanyahu touts friendship with Putin in new billboard

    An interesting cultural question.

    Who uses motherland?
The people of some countries have historically personified their country in feminine ways. To them, their home country is (in translation) the motherland. For example, a common personification of Russia is Mother Russia (Matushka Rossiya). During the movement for Indian independence of the late 1800s, the concept of Bharat Mata (or Mother India) emerged. Both of these personifications have been linked to ancient mother goddesses.

Indeed, languages and cultures have long personified the earth (and creative forces more generally) as female. English has Mother Earth (recorded since the 1500s), with antecedents in the Latin Mater Terra and German Mutter Erde. Mother goddesses abound in world culture.

    Who uses fatherland?
Some cultures personify their lands as masculine. The German national anthem features verses that translate to “Unity and justice and freedom / For the German fatherland!” (German, Vaterland).

The Netherlands (Dutch, vaderland), as well as the Scandinavian countries, have similar forms of fatherland. Among many others, people of the Slavic (e.g., Czech, otčina) and Baltic nations (e.g., Estonian, isamaa) also tend to refer to their homeland as the fatherland.

Even in English in fatherland can convey patriotic connotations. Let’s revisit Latin patria. That word comes from the Latin for “father,” pater, which is related to the English word … patriot.

This is probably because they are embarrassed by the fact that the massive arsenals that Russia possesses on paper have actually been sold off by Putin’s friends and Yeltsin before him. They don’t want to admit that they need to buy drones from Iran (they denied that too, remember?) or shells and rockets from N. Korea.

But you sure get emotional and defensive over your own statements.

you are traitors to the u.s. people, who unfortunately, have been so stupified by your propaganda

I rarely watch mainstream media. It is indeed pretty stupid. Maybe try quoting me instead of projecting as if I represent all the positions you oppose.

it was you who marched on russia and ignored previous agreements not to expand zato to the east

I live in America and I have never marched against anyone. The UN voted 143-5 that the war is unjust and Russia should return to its borders. I agree and yet you act as if only an American can take the position that Russia is in the wrong. I agree with the UN on both Israel and Russia. The world views both countries as unjust aggressors.

the russians that have died defending their motherland, have insured the safety and sovereignty of their people and families left behind

So Russia was under threat from a neighboring country with no Navy and 1/8 the infantry? You believe that Ukraine would have invaded Russia?

Well Putin told us that the war was about stopping NATO from expanding East even though Ukraine didn’t qualify and wasn’t in the process of applying. In retrospect he probably should have invaded Finland first, correct? Since they share more border with Russia and have since joined NATO due to Putin’s aggression? Did Putin make a mistake by not invading Finland?

Your attempt to change the subject from “Russians are safe thanks to the super duper awesome Russian military, yay Russian Army!” to “OK Russians aren’t safe but it’s all America’s fault” and “what about terrorism and shootings in America?” shows that you can’t refute me.

I’m right. The article is wrong. Russians are not safe. That’s the topic.

The hilarious thing is that the author was condemned by Mother Roosha totalitarian state media for hate speech:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia_Insider

Yet here he is at Unz giving us a lecture on how great it is to be in Russia…..and yet they disavowed him.

Thanks to Fraunz for pointing that out in another thread. Nice catch.

Don’t give yourself a stroke. Typing whole sentences in capital letters makes me read your comments in a weepy, snotty voice, so calm down. You have clown’s eye view of Ukraine, reality will get to you eventually:

  185. @Carney

Carney (so-called because he was a Carnival barker), writes:

Meanwhile, anyone disagreeing with you must be an amoral mercenary, selling his services to the highest bidder.

Brad is an individual of proven integrity, who can smell out the agents of ZOG from a distance.

Brad does not claim you’re amoral because you disagree with him.
He (and the rest of us) state emphatically that you’re amoral because you take AMORAL POSITIONS on all the issues and ALWAYS side with the murderous Anglo Zionist empire establishment.

Even Blind Freddie can see that ZOG provoked Putin into the Ukraine proxy war.
Blind Freddie can also see that Putin did everything humanly possible to avoid the commencement of hostilities (through the Minsk Accord and other negotiations).
But your precious ZOG benefactors wanted war and thus torpedoed the negotiations.

The fact of the matter is that YOU, Mr Carnival Barker (just like that rodent John’s Johnson who’s also disseminating crap in this thread), side with the neocon warmongers on EVERY issue and you’ve been observed to spread ZOG propaganda in every thread you’re engaged in here at the UR.

It is clear to all of us that you’re a malevolent Jew, either acting in the capacity of a sayan or you’re employed by the ADL to disseminate your falsehoods.

  186. @John Johnson

    John’s Johnson writes:

PLUS YOU CAN FREEZE TO DEATH IN A TRENCH FOR AN ANGRY DWARF

It’s very rare that I agree with the slimy and mendacious individual that uses the handle John’s Johnson (he uses an Anglo Celtic sounding pseudonym to distract attention away from the fact that he’s a Shlomo), but this is one such alignment-of-the-planets such occasion.
So credit to him for telling it like it is in the statement in block quotes above.

The poisonous dwarf Zelensky (leader of the Judeo-Ukrainian regime), is one angry man indeed after mighty Russia pummelled his country to pulp, whilst sustaining negligible losses of their own in relative terms.
Countless* Ukrainians have frozen to death in a trench fighting on behalf of the Anglo Zionist empire (seeing as this war does nothing to advance the interests of the Ukrainian people themselves).

(*Of course, for every hapless Ukie conscript that froze to death in a trench, a factor of 1000 or more were blown to bits by Russian artillery or had their spinal cords ripped out by shrapnel).

The German word for poisonous dwarf is ‘giftzwerg’, and certainly Zelensky is all that and more for having sold out his countrymen for a few shekels of silver.

So good on you J & J for point pointing out that Zelensky is one very despicable little dwarf, and that anyone siding with him in this ZOG orchestrated war (against the beacon of wholesomeness and decency in the world – otherwise known as Mother Russia), is an amoral piece of sh*t.

    Dear Truth,

Just for the record and in case you haven’t noticed, I happen to agree with the vast majority of what you write here on Unz.

But have you thought about how comments written in a pompous style and containing numerous personal attacks seem cartoonish and are therefore less likely to gain traction as the “public service” that you claim to provide?

Take what you can use and throw the rest away.

    No response necessary.

  188. @Carney

    Mr. Carnival Barker:

    Quote:

“Because, surely, no one who disagrees with your precious infallible self could be sincerely concerned about important issues and feel motivated to speak out on his own initiative.”

First of all, I am not “precious” to anyone here on earth. I USED TO BE “precious” to two persons, ex-wives, but I RUINED THAT. No one else to blame; myself only.

Second, I have NEVER claimed to be infallible. The main reason I get on TUR is because I have learned much from Truth Vigilante, Rurik and a few others. I appreciate their wisdom and them taking the time to share their insights with me, in an effort to correct some false beliefs and misconceptions that I have acquired over the years.

    Thank you.

lie #1, i get tired of your braindead zafo trolling and constant lies and deceitful half truths.

Maybe try quoting me instead of projecting as if I represent all the positions you oppose.

that would be a waste of my time, because you are paid to represent all the positions i oppose, that’s your job, as a professional liar.

I live in America and I have never marched against anyone.

that’s most likely because your a bot and have no legs.

So Russia was under threat from a neighboring country with no Navy and 1/8 the infantry? You believe that Ukraine would have invaded Russia?

lie #2, zato had built and equipped the would be second largest army in zato, spending hundreds of billions of dollars, after having organized a coup, to replace the elected government with their ukranazi proxies, that immediately started attacking russian speaking civilians and outlawed the use of the russian language, that a majority of the country used. they then murdered tens of thousands of civilians in eastern ukraine telling them they should leave their own country, acts of genocide, in order for your masters to steal the trillions in resources, while zato used their 30+ bioweapon labs, to experiment on ukrainians, to develop bioweapons specific to slavs, for later use against the russian people.

Did Putin make a mistake by not invading Finland?

lie #3, the russians launched the smo to protect civilians, as ukraine was violating the minsk accords. as far as finland goes, russia doesn’t give a shit, as they were not murdering and displacing russian speaking people.

It’s the narcissism of small differences. The peoples from the nations of the former Yugoslavia have good relations on a personal and private level as far as I have experienced despite the brutal civil war. Listen to Alex Thomson‘s podcast back in 2022 explaining the ethnic and linguistic divides in Ukraine. Apart from may be Galicia it’s a Russian nation.

  191. @Carney

You are not making sense. The author is talking about them being invaded from outside. Militaries are not responsible for internal security in most nations

I have thought many many times about moving to Russia. I am 53, alone in the world, nothing holding me down except lack of money. I have a job, house, etc, but if I knew I could find a way to survive in Russia (I don’t have a college degree either), I would cash in all my chips and leave tomorrow. I even saw how Russia has made it easier for people to flee from here to there. I would absolutely love to start the last chapter of life in Russia.

  196. anon[802] • Disclaimer says:

tsar alexander 1 told napoleon that if he invaded russia, he and his army would be totally destroyed. napoleon’s response? “no, russia is a colossus with feet of clay.” he put together a grande armee of 630,000 (the biggest in history?) and reached moscow. but more than 5 out of every 6 men he took into russia died in russia. eventually, 95,000 starving, frostbitten men, all order and discipline gone, staggered back across the border into lithuania. most of them died of typhus soon after. napoleon was only able to use 20,000 of those men in battle again. and all the horses and guns were lost. napoleon’s valet hid his pistols to stop him shooting himself.

in 1941 hitler declared, “i have decided to conquer russia by the end of the year.” goering begged him not to do it, on the grounds that germany lacked sufficient resources for the operation. his response? “we only have to kick in the front door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down.” russian casualties were colossal, approaching 10 million in the first 6 months. but they bounced back and mounted a successful counterattack before moscow at the end of 1941. hitler thought he could finish the job in 1942. in the 3 months, july to september 1942, the red army suffered 2.5 million casualties, a daily average for those 3 months of over 27,000 killed, wounded and captured. hitler went on fighting for the next 3 years, because he genuinely believed, right into 1945, that russian losses were so astronomical that eventually they would run out of steam and have to stop. the fortnight long battle of berlin cost them 300,000 casualties. on the face of it, his reasoning was quite logical.

general montgomery said that rule 1 in the book of rules of war, was: “do not march on moscow. it has been tried before, and it is no good.”

the us and eu, particularly the eu, have destroyed themselves by engineering the ukraine war, fortunately for them at least, without incurring millions of casualties this time.

  197. @Observator

    Perfectly said, sir.

Of course, you’re probably going to Hell because you don’t believe that God had to make himself into a human and then murder himself / his “son” — or the human part of his son, not the God part — because otherwise all-powerful God wouldn’t be able to forgive repentant people’s sins (except that he apparently WAS able to forgive sins in ancient times before he made himself part human / part divine / all divine and came disney to earth 😉

  200. If “Russia’s unstoppable military” hasn’t in fact been stopped, then why is “North Korea’s unstoppable military” now in the Ukraine? Speaking of facts, did you know that it’s a hard fact that a lot of Americans long for the return of hard, factual news and not an endless game of propaganda pong? America, the world’s self-appointed White knight, has gifted the world a new sheriff. Hopefully, he will sort it all out for “Russia’s unstoppable military’s” destroyer and “the Ukraine’s unstoppable military’s” destroyer.

Americans would like all handouts to pathetic foreign leaches and beggars to end, forever. Americans don’t care if Russia keeps it’s stolen territories. Americans find Putin’s brown-nosing of Xi far more disgusting than any other of Putin’s many colorful stunts.

  201. @Truth Vigilante

I thought that his articles are mish mash, meandering, and lack a firm intellectual, cultural, and civic institutional basis. He does not even touch on the people-what they are like-in Russia. Many others have marveled at the kindness, level of civil conduct, and just goodness of the Russians they meet.

I believe that he polished and burnished his resume a bit. All in all, a very incomplete, wordy, colloquial, and shallow essays. There are much better reportages on emigrants to Russia in situ, on the scene, with and without children.

He comes from a very narrow, financial, urban, and sequestered environment. Low rating overall
