This is not the place for a full exposition on holocaust revisionism so I’ll just point out a few glaring anomalies that astonished me, encouraged me to read further, and which perhaps will do likewise for others. I’ll be as brief as I can.

First the undeniable facts.
There were concentration camps located at and near Auschwitz.
Many people died there, many of them Jews.
But let’s dig a bit deeper.

Further examination raises interesting additional less well-known information.

I suppose my loose understanding of the story was that the Germans created this ghetto in the outback purely for the murder of ethnic groups they didn’t like. However, it was situated alongside a large military-industrial complex in the far south of Poland which was built early in the war to produce synthetic oil and rubber which they could no longer source from abroad. The location had extensive supplies of coal and water. Obviously it needed a large labour contingent which was not available locally, hence the need to set up labour camps. Two questions immediately suggest themselves.

If they wanted to murder people, why transport them a thousand miles, why not just round them up and shoot them at home?
If they desperately needed labour, why would they kill six million potential operatives?

Many people died, and this is not disputed, of typhus—Britannica says that according to the Dutch government that was the cause of Anne Frank’s death—and there were recurring serious outbreaks in the camps. There was no cure. Typhus was spread by body lice, the only preventative course was to delouse, to fumigate clothing, and before the introduction of DDT the preferred choice was Zyklon B. The active ingredient in Zyklon B is hydrogen cyanide gas. This function was carried out in, well, gas chambers. When DDT became available in 1944 deliveries of Zyklon B ceased.

How many died? Where did the six million number come from? There has been a certain amount of downsizing here, currently Britannica says “Between 1.1 and 1.5 million people died at Auschwitz; 90 percent of them were Jews. The first mention of six million Jews at risk from this that or the other can be found in the New York Times in 1867. The Jewish-owned NYT alone repeated the number 34 further times up to 1939.

If you want to read further then Kollerstrom’s Breaking the Spell: The Holocaust, Myth & Reality (pdf downloadable but I have lost the link) effectively summarizes much of the more recent Holocaust Revisionist evidence, including the official Auschwitz death books returned by Gorbachev after the end of the Cold War, which indicate that Jewish fatalities were some 99% lower than the widely-believed total. Furthermore, deaths actually showed a sharp decline once plentiful supplies of Zyklon B arrived, exactly contrary to what might have been expected under the conventional account.

Those who say that Israel knew about the plans for October 7 all along are repackaging an old colonial trope which believes that the natives are too docile, too submissive, too cowardly, and too inferior to revolt against their oppressors.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinians launched the greatest decolonial operation in Palestine’s history. They sawed off their shackles, tore down their cage, and seared through the iron walls. The Palestinians took to the skies. They blinded cameras, severed communications, and penetrated settlements. They paralyzed a nuclear settler colony and brought the empire to its knees. They severed the umbilical cord of impregnability, safety, and sacrosanct dominion, vital to all colonial projects.

Immediately, imperial scribes and politicians, colonial settlers and administrators, conservatives and liberals — especially liberals — went to work.
