There are many people who didn’t seriously “get on the nerves” of family and friends until they wound up on the opposite side of the abstractions. Well, okay, maybe they were “on the nerves” sometimes, but they had the admiration, love, and respect. Then along came the deplorables/derangement syndrome, the abstractions, and that magnified a normal level of “on the nerves” into great anger. In sum, the two parameters (1. bothersome traits to begin with; and 2. the abstractions) are related, in a way that is additive or maybe even multiplicative.

Steve’s arguments and writing are becoming more and more convoluted (as this post clearly shows) due to his unwillingness to accept a basic reality: They hate us and want our people destroyed.

You also had Newsweek publishing a cover story about racial differences in IQ and the publication of Charles Murray’s The Bell Curve. There is no chance that anyone will be setting up concentration camps or death camps for white people. However, other modes of genocide are conceivable. In Rwanda, the Hutus were warned “The Tutsis are coming back to take over the country! Go out and kill as many as you can before they can kill you!” The result was 100 days of slaughter with 800,000 dead.

Comparison with the BLM protests shows how such a scenario might play out in the USA. The slaughter would be accompanied by looting, arson, and no-go areas for the police. The media would describe it as “mostly peaceful protests”. By the tenth day the authorities would realize that something was badly wrong, and begin a crackdown. By then there would be 80,000 dead – a small number compared to the Holocaust, but (following ICC judgements concerning Bosnia) large enough to be considered genocide.

Given the tone of much of the anti-white content, it is reasonable to conclude that some of its writers would consider such a slaughter to be “a good start”. It would be difficult to avoid the charge that the killing, and the advocacy for it, had taken place with the collusion of the authorities.

I remember being puzzled by this charge decades ago as a teenager. Watching all that tv I thought blacks were all police captains, judges and high school principals.

You make many good points. Those who are bullied incessantly can take it one of two ways. One way is to attempt to avoid confrontation (difficult, but doable) and the other way is to fight mercilessly against the bully. One-on-one confrontations are often successful, but many times bullies are part of a group, which makes it much more difficult to resolve the situation.
Many times these “groups” are sanctioned by the schools themselves, being “jocks” or other “protected” groups. School officials quite often “look the other way” and don’t want to be bothered. If the bullied student fights back, HE is quite often punished by the “system”.
The case of football jocks murdering a “goth” youth and getting away with it “just because they could” actually occurred in Amarillo Texas. These “jocks” repeatedly harassed and eventually murdered this “goth” student. When the case came to trial, the “jocks” were acquitted because “the big football championship game was scheduled for the following week and their “star players” were needed to assure a win for the school”. As “football” is next to “mom and apple pie” in Texas, the jurors’ decision was not a surprise. Texans take football so seriously, many high schools have facilities that rival professional sports teams.
A few years later, the ringleader of the bullies was jailed for another offense.
Bullies need to be beaten to within an inch of their lives. Permanent irreversible paralysis would be a plus.

If you watch entertainment TV or movies, you would get the impression that blacks are heroic geniuses, although black men on TV seem to be a little effeminate. On the other hand, if you watch local news, you would see almost every day a mugshot of a dead-eyed, many times slack-jawed (lower lip hanging down) young black male with a funny name who (allegedly) committed some unbelievably stupid act of violence.

But nobody pays attention to local news these days….

It was just as bad in the 1960s. In fact, Detroit’s public high schools had “black students unions” that were successful in getting the American flag removed from the front of the schools and replacing them with “black nationalist” flags.

The ordeal that us white students had to go through was harrowing, to say the least. White students did not use the restrooms, as a “beatdown” by multiple blacks was usually the result.

Blacks never fought one-on-one, the “pack mentality” was evident then as is today.

Any attempts by whites to defend themselves was met with indifference, and even outright hostility from the black school officials. You see, even then, blacks were not “responsible” for their behavior.

Blacks did not want to learn, the same situation that still exists today. Even then, blacks were disruptive. You see, just as is the case today, excelling at education is “acting white” and is frowned upon by fellow black “students”. Most of the teachers just shrugged their shoulders, let the disruptions go on until the next class period.

Almost all teachers were deferential to blacks, although there were a few good teachers who tried to carefully shield their white and asian students (us) from predatory blacks, giving us additional attention and coursework, knowing that we would excel in spite of the, violent, raucous atmosphere.

Ted [Lasso] has skipped ahead. It has ignored the difficulties of how to transform entitlement into humility and instead presented a Fixed Version of the American Man as a fait accompli. The fantasy of emotionally intelligent, empathetic American masculinity arrives fully formed. It’s an easier show to watch. It begins with answers instead of thorny, intractable muddles.

Ted Lasso is really popular with women with BPD on Twitter, the cohort of the terminally-online which seems to get everything it wants today, which makes it fascinating to me.

Ted Lasso is basically the same trite, we’ll have our characters act like cartoons for 20 minutes and then expect you to treat their contrived isolated personal problem as deeply serious that you might remember from Bill Lawarence’s other show, Scrubs. He just adds lots of reddit-tier stereotypes about Britain in there. (Even to the point that the foreign players don’t come from the right countries, the goalkeeper is a Quebecois and the main foreign player is Mexican)

But the author misses the point. In the first episode Ted has a realistic panic attack when he realises optimism isn’t a substitute for knowing what you’re doing and we learn his normal, down to Earth wife can’t live with him anymore and divorces him and he becomes estranged from his young son. His character also had an alcohol problem.

But the people who watched the show are too stupid to see this and so think Ted is a hero and think this fiction depiction of the world is reality. So the writers got the message and removed all the suggestions about people like Ted being in denial and the show a fantasy where real conflict doesn’t exist. It’s not to say a lack of empathy doesn’t cause conflict but plenty of irreconcilable conflicts aren’t about a lack of empathy, they’re about fundamental irreconcilable interests. The show just pretends that the constellation of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ set forth from Hollywood isn’t rooted in it’s own interests and denial of other interests.

And, I think, the show is popular because some women feel validated by seeing ‘Ted Lasso’ pretend that male stoicism is just silly and there’s nothing wrong with their inability to be stoic. Female opinion writers who don’t like, let alone love, their husbands anymore often write about women performing grueling ’emotional labor’ for the men in their lives whilst simultaneously complaining about male stoicism. It’s actually male stoicism and not making their problems problems for others, even when it hurts them individually, the real ’emotional labor’ that makes the world go round.

How seriously should I take anti-white rhetoric? Here are the practical consequences for me so far:
I keep my mouth shut at work and with my neighbors on political issues. I used to argue politics with people.
I did not vote in the recent elections for mayor/city council. I could not find even one candidate who met the minimum qualification of lesser of evils.
Crime has become an issue in my neighborhood in the past 2 or 3 years. We now have lots of homeless, petty back yard thefts, and a woman was shot on the street at one in the afternoon during a robbery only 6 blocks away from my house. Unthinkable a few years ago.
I cannot find a school that will give my child a real education, even if I pay extra for it.
The public issues of greatest importance to my and my child’s future – guns and butter – cannot be seriously discussed, because we have to have idiotic debates about race. And the guns and butter policies of our elites are against my interests.
Immigration is changing the people around me. Going forward it will be increasingly difficult to move the debate off race and on to guns and butter. Immigration guarantees that race will be the only political issue.
Laws matter. Politics matter. Bad politics changes your workplace, your school, your street.

Is that you, Stan Adams? High School sucked. No doubt. But that was a long time ago. Who carries those kind of memories as grudges? Looking back is such a bleak waste of time. I bounded after the first episode because I was disappointed that they had completely abandon the premise of the original spots on which the show was based. In those lasso was a hot shot American football coach who retained his self confidence in the face of his ignorance of soccer because he was in fact a good coach just in a different sport. Notice most of these “open season” attacks happen in places where White males do not regularly carry firearms upon their person.

I’m just doing the Peter Lynch thing of crediting what I see in front of my face. When I was growing up we looked down our noses at this part of town but we were wrong. The neighborhood of globocorporate transients where I grew up (we don’t even have high school reunions) has gone significantly downhill while this Catholic working class neighborhood that’s been about half black for fifty years is thriving. One neighbor has been here for five generations as have all his friends and on the other side is a retiree from Fresno that chose to move here. I think one reason there has been such an outcry about teaching critical race theory is that it is aimed at people’s children. They might no speak up for themselves but it cuts a little closer when they come after your kids. I would also say that the time is getting closer. The first time I got arrested for being assaulted by a black, was in 1988.

The first time an employer told me he would never hire me, because I was White, was 1990.

Even the UN page on genocide covers the various tactics being used against Whites.

I think Whites should take seriously immigration policies that have led to White flight, replacement, and ethnic cleansing. They should also take seriously the fact that they are scapegoated and blamed for everything, that everything is about Black, Brown, and Asian empowerment and representation and driving out and tearing down Whites, and that Hollywood is devoted to anti-White propaganda and Black, Yellow, and Brownwashing Whites out of existence.

Unless they want to lose everything and be destroyed.

Race as a large-scale abstraction? People have always divided themselves into separate races, nations, and tribes. Ethnic nationalism is human nature and natural law. White people today are incapable of goodwill for other Whites, but most Blacks, Hispanics, and Asians take race pride for granted.

I think most of this racial hatred is to condition whites to their lowly status and richly deserved punishment at the hands of The Precioussss.

I doubt this. The more diverse the U.S. becomes, the more foreign quarrels it will be drawn into. It will be forced to take sides in disputes where traditionally it would have remained neutral.

You can see this at work in Canada, which because of its large Sikh and Tamil populations, finds itself frequently quarrelling with India and Sri Lanka.
