TTIC, Black graduation rates at the nearby less selective state university are one-third of Whites’, but recent student newspaper articles attributed that solely to insufficient remedial courses, and purportedly unwelcoming attitudes among White students and White professors. White males of European extraction make up no more than about 38% of the student body, but the call to recruit more minorities and White women, allegedly because of their underrepresentation, are a campus staple.

Black males are actually overrepresented on the football team, because there are a lot of good Black football players, more so than Whites drawn from their cohort. The reasoning that performance explains the numbers doesn’t carry over to the academic side. Does that help?

The fact is that deep down progressive whites don’t really believe blacks are capable of the same quality of work or standards of behavior as white people, and all of their social policies (AA, the constellation of social welfare programs, disciplinary policies, etc.) are built around around this fact. There seems to be a kind of Gene Paradox at work, at least among whites.

We tend to think we will have more diversity if we mix races together. But when we look at much of Latin America, the various races seem to be mixing into a kind of generic genetic mean that looks like Hugo Chavez who looks like a mix of white, black, and indio.

What’s astounding to me is those same standard-issue White American-born males will have the knife twisted in them. The Sanders campaign holds the last vestiges of an old liberalism that has been completely swallowed up by ethnic politics on the left. It is where it gets its vigor. I’m old enough to remember white male privilege. Growing up in the 50’s women were second class citizens and blacks third class. I trained the first female worker on the sort at the UPS center where I worked. I trained the first female turret lathe operator at the factory where I worked. These were jobs that women are perfectly able to do. Both were union jobs and the women were paid exactly the same as the men. Working class black, white, male and female coexist quite well in the work place in my experience. I don’t know what its like in the office. I don’t know what its like in the board room. Did women and blacks receive disparate impact treatment during the 1950s? There were women’s only colleges in the 1950s but mens only groups have been met with bomb threats such as the voice for men groups. Private employers we’re not legally prohibited from using intelligence testing.

Working class white blacks and whites work great in the workplace until an accusation of racism and the physical threat of violence comes along. Any working class white male will be denied freedom of association and diagnosed with aspergers syndrome for questioning the scenario.

When the original civil rights act was passed it wasn’t supposed to contain quotas. Then they demanded quotas. White men were not threatened on college campuses for the existence of standardized tests.

People stay in school for a lot longer because of antidiscrimination lawsuits not because they are learning anything. As for blacks. You may have heard about segregation and Jim Crow.

At one time private property, liberty of contract and freedom of association were upheld as sacrosanct principles. It is not as simple as saying that women and minorities were denied a position on the other end someone has to offer it. The legal principals are known as consent and consideration which is really what the civil rights movement is against.

We’ve really been moving in the opposite direction to sanity when it comes to disciplining unruly blacks. It was explained to me, years ago, when I encountered “White Males Need Not Apply” that this wasn’t discrimination. Institutions were simply righting the wrongs of the past. I’d read 1984, was familiar with Newspeak and could understand the principle.

Amherst College abolished fraternities whereupon a number of fraternity men protested. The protest was led by male fraternity brothers of color and supported by many of the women students, including some women students of color. The fraternities had a spotless record, engaged in voluntary service activities of a socially approved nature and even offered an escort service to women students returning to their dwellings late at night lest a lusty male be lying in wait to molest them. So the administration was somewhat embarrassed by the abolition and had to come up with ways to defend it. Fortunately, a false rape allegation came to the aid of the administration and shifted the focus.

Academic administrators and faculty are, by and large, careerists. They have to keep a steady finger to the wind and play their hands accordingly. Many who defend outrageous behavior would just as soon condemn it and will do so if and when the times change. Individual variants aside, academia follows the cultural trends; it doesn’t set them.

Just allow private employers to use whatever testing methods to assess employer competency method that they prefer. There’s a lot said about discrimination in admissions against Asians being worse than against whites, but truth be told, Asians are also cheating a heck of a lot more than whites (at least per capita), in high school, in taking SATs, in admissions applications, and while in college. Given that, they are likely getting admitted at a rate that is probably closer to their true performance.

Competency based education platforms are being developed out of Purdue university to help cope with this problem. Civil rights leaders alleging racial discrimination must point to an objective third party test that they would agree to or their suits dismissed and subjected to huge enforceable fines. Intelligence testing must be allowed by private organization. All student groups must be banned for the time being. The health risk of homosexuality must be openly discussed. The business defense in disparate impact lawsuits is the purpose of business is to produce a profit not promote racial equality or right the wrongs of the past. The supreme court needs to stop evading the issue of whether or not the doctrine of disparate impact is in violation of the Seth amendment.

Political Correctness rests on kitsch, just like the Cultural Revolution in China in the 60s. There used to be sharp-edged intellectuals who disdained George Lucas’ descent into kitsch as STAR WARS got dumber and dumber. But the New STAR WARS by J.J. Abrams, which is kitschier than ever, has been hailed by most critics because it conforms to PC kitsch of ‘diversity’, which is also pure kitsch that doesn’t pass the intellectual-factual test. Slogans such as ‘diversity is our strength’ work according to kitsch logic which is no logic at all. It’s all about feely-good emotions. Even maverick individualism has been kitschized through normalization via celebrity culture of TATTOOING. What had once been deviant has been made part of the Cult of the Cool.

9/11 didn’t kill irony as Roger Rosenblatt said. What killed it was Jewish and Homo Power that now rests on hoodwinking and manipulating the mass emotions of the dumbed down population.

Let me tell you a little secret. The Latinos are more tribal and will not put up with black dysfunction. Neither will the Asians. The coming demographic implosion of white liberals will unleash another cultural upheaval. The Indian gas store owner said to me that we hear an awful lot about unarmed black men being shot but not enough about armed black men and the problem is that certain groups don’t believe in family. My Chinese landlord said that she could not understand why whites out up with it and that blacks are like a locust plague. Latinos ethnically cleansed parts of los angeles and will not put up with black dysfunction. The arrogant jews think that everyone will hate whites just because they say so and believe me thats not the case. Most immigrants don’t like homo culture and a lot of them are not fond of jews. Latino gangs will admit whites but not blacks. I don’t know what the future holds but everything is up in the air.

Plenty of nonwhites don’t like Islam either. Hindus, sikhs, and other groups don’t like Islamic peoples. Nothing lasts forever.

In my youth in a 65% black city, this was very common. The few remaining (stuck) white families’ kids were pressured constantly to race-mix and stay rather than grappling to get our families out of there. The pressure didn’t just come from the blacks–and I saw many examples of what you note. The Quakers and Jews did way more than their share of propagandizing.

One of my keenest memories involves being called a racist and a Nazi for refusing to double date with a fat loud homely Jewish lady of about 35 and her black husband a good decade her junior. She tried to pair me up with someone I didn’t even want to be in the same county with. I tried saying no with some measure of delicacy, but it was lost on her. When I got tired of interacting on the topic and said bluntly, “Stop pressuring me. I have no interest in dating blacks,” the big guns came out.

I should note that said Jewish lady married a black man who had last stage kidney disease. In other words, she got all the virtue-merit of race-mixing…along with the surety that he would not last more than about five years or leave her pregnant. He died in three. She used his sacred memory like a bullwhip on everyone about her.

He seemed a decent enough man. Didn’t come on to white women, was quite respectful to everyone. Church-going. Not very bright, but did the best with what he inherited. I got the sense that after about a year of marriage he realized he’d been used, but by then it was just a struggle for him to get from day to day. Kidney dialysis was far more primitive then (1970s) than today. I was only 19 but learned a lot from that about how some people exploit blacks while calling others racist.

You note in another comment that you have a hard time relating to people of lower IQs.

Allow me to suggest that any government or social policies you favor are likely not to function well with a population where at least 98% reside under 130 IQ.

I know that very well but the law wasn’t always written for the least capable as it is now. Maybe I am wrong. I think the education of talented young men is a disgrace but the horrible feminists won’t let anyone do anything about it. What is disturbing to me is how the universities have been destroyed by these movements. Yale and Harvard are willing to stake their credibility on these movements. What is the future of intellectual life if elite whites are not safe from nonsense in an ivy library?
