This Saturday, there will be a rally near the US Capitol to protest the harsh treatment of the people arrested after the January 6th riot. It’s called “Justice for J6,” and a couple of congressional candidates are scheduled to speak.
The head of the Capitol Police is terrified. He has borrowed state of the art “threat monitoring” cameras from the Defense Department that operate day and night.
That big eyeball can turn in any direction and focus close up or far away.
They’ll have these things all over the place, taking super hi-res pictures of everyone there.
There will be a big, black fence around the Capitol to protect it.
The palace of democracy will be behind bars. The Capitol Police will be on high alert with every man on deck.
The DC city police will activate its entire force and has canceled vacations. The National Guard Quick Reaction Force has been asked to stand by.
What in heaven’s name are they afraid of? White supremacy, of course. “Top law enforcement officials keep telling us the biggest domestic terror threat comes from white supremacists”
and the media assure us that’s what the Jan. 6 riot was all about. The New York Times explained it all in an article called “White Riot.”
It said, “White supremacy and frank racism are prime motivators.”
PBS and NPR explained that “The Capitol insurrection was never about the election. It was about white supremacy.”
So, anyone who thinks the rioters might be getting a raw deal is a white supremacist, just dying to run amok. I’ll make a prediction: If there is any trouble, it will be from hopped up lefties, of which there are plenty in Washington, DC.
The people organizing the rally say anyone who was charged for January 6 — but who did nothing violent — is a political prisoner. Are they right?
National Public Radio says the manhunt for people who entered the Capitol has been “the biggest criminal investigation in US history.”
Bigger than the investigation into 9-11, and far bigger than any attempt to catch BLM criminals, who rioted for months, caused billions in damage, made 200 cities declare curfews, and forced 30 states to call out the national guard.
You see, the January 6 people are in an entirely separate category. In March, FBI Directory Christopher Wray told the Senate, “we, the FBI, consider this a form of domestic terrorism.”
It plastered the faces of people who were inside the Capitol on bus shelters and asked the public to identify them.
Two months ago, the FBI was bragging it got more than 200,000 tips from the public, and it was still asking for more.
It did nothing like this to try to find BLM arsonists, looters, people who burned police cars, and tried to kill police officers.
As of Sept. 15, the feds had charged 642 people so far. Please note the “so far.”
Even if you just walked into the Capitol through open doors, they will arrest you if they find you. If you want a side-by-side comparison of what happened in the Capitol takeover compared to the BLM riots — and to the Donald Trump Inauguration riots that everyone has forgotten — the website Real Clear Investigations lays out the facts.
You probably remember headlines like this: “Escaping justice. Hundreds of BLM rioters, looters, and vandals have charges dropped despite destruction from violent protests.”
That was in New York, but it was the same everywhere. The New York Times explained “why charges against protesters are being dismissed by the thousands.” They were just exercising basic civil rights.
Maybe you remember the riots at the Portland Courthouse that went on night after night for months and left the place looking like this?
Even a very liberal site called “The Crime Report” notes that “defendants charged in the violent Portland, Ore., protests have received deferred resolution agreements, under which prosecutors promise to drop charges after a certain amount of time if the defendant stays out of trouble and completes things like community service.”
Meanwhile, back in DC, so many people from Jan. 6 have been rotting in the DC jail that it had to open up a defunct wing the jailers derisively call “the patriot unit.” According to one lawyer, it has black mold and brown drinking water.
Things are so bad that “Jan. 6 defendants win unlikely Dem champions as they face harsh detainment.” Even Senator Elizabeth Warren says that holding them in solitary confinement is “cruel and psychologically damaging.”
This article quotes a defense lawyer: “It’s not normal to isolate people and make them eat on their floor.” But progressive champion, Senator Dick Durbin, who has long called for abolishing solitary confinement, says there should be an exception for what he calls “insurrectionists.”
The same article notes: “Some Jan. 6 defendants have contended that there is a racial component to their treatment: Most are white — some affiliated with white nationalist groups — while most D.C. inmates and prison guards are Black. Judge Paul Friedman said last week that those concerns are “not necessarily illegitimate.”
I know of not one defendant affiliated with a “white nationalist group.”
Richard Barnett is the man who was photographed in Nancy Pelosi’s office.
He was never violent. He destroyed no property. He put his feet on Nancy’s desk, at the request of a news photographer. He was also carrying a stun gun. He was from Gravette, Arkansas, but was stuck in the DC jail, in solitary confinement, for 109 days until he was released, over the objections of the Justice Department which wanted to keep him there until his trial begins – whenever that will be. He says prison guards — probably black — grabbed him and threw him violently to the ground. Many prisoners have stories like this. Any chance they will have charges dropped in exchange for community service? Ha.
A poll by Rasmussen just a few days ago found that 49 percent of likely US voters agree that protesters arrested during the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol are being held as “political prisoners.”
This is a very high figure in the face of steady reminders of how evil those people were.
Remember, just this month, our draft-dodging president, George W., who unleashed wars that killed hundreds of thousands of people, compared the Jan. 6 rioters to the 9-11 mass murders: “in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit.”
I try to use words carefully. I have nothing but contempt for people who call the Capitol riot an “armed insurrection.”
But political prisoners? In my view, you are a political prisoner if you go to jail only for expressing a point of view. So far as I can tell, most of these 642 people — and counting — haven’t said anything political at all, and, technically, they may be guilty of trespassing. So maybe I’m being overly scrupulous in saying they aren’t political prisoners.
But they are certainly victims of a vicious political double standard that would outrage Amnesty International if it were not a bunch of lefties like Dick Durbin, who wants to abolish solitary for rapists and murderers but thinks it’s just fine for the Jan. 6 defendants.
The Potomac regime could well cross the line and outlaw the expression of ideas it doesn’t like. Many would say it already has.
People used to call the Soviet Union “Upper Volta with rockets,” that is, a banana republic with nuclear weapons. Now, we’re the ones headed that way.

Attending the Trump rally on January 6 and strolling through the Capitol that day was surly expressing the political point of view that there is reason to suspect the 2020 election results were fraudulent.

So who are the “People” in We, the People? Why did the Constitution give so much power to the executive branch and the judiciary?
Jefferson was good at coining a pithy phrase, but you have to take everything that Jefferson said in the context of his own experience, the times he lived in, and what he actually meant at the time.
Jefferson obviously was not a monarchist, so he tended to equate “government” with the royalty of England and France and you need to take these sayings on board with the thought that Jefferson was probably thinking of Marie Antoinette as he spoke.
Jefferson supposedly once said that if not for Marie Antoinette, there might have been no French Revolution.
Does the U.S. have political prisoners? It depends on who you ask. Since the democrats change the meaning of words they don’t like, they’ll say no, or yes, depending on the person or situation.
So the US government is _not_ 100% tyrannical and should not be overthrown a.s.a.p. ( if not sooner 😎 ) and returned to a constitutional Republic – is that your point?

I expect it to be False Flag Weekend — what’ll it be this time? The “Capitol Police” (overpaid mall cops) are getting ready for something.
Apparently, from what I’ve read, nothing happened last weekend. By some accounts there were more undercover FBI informers and press than there were actual protesters.
It’s tragic that Whites can no longer protest for their illegally imprisoned bothers. But it is what it is. Anyone dumb enough to go to the protests in DC has more balls than brains. The undercover agent provocateurs were just waiting for a few to step out of line so that they could join their brothers in DC’s jails. I wonder how many, if any, were arrested?
Where has President Trump been on this? It was he who encouraged his supporters to protest OUTSIDE the Capitol, and he said he would join them. Instead, he retired to the WH to watch the proceedings on Fox News. Trump could have prevented the incursion into the Capitol building if he wanted to. But he chose the coward’s way out. Trump should be daily demanding the release of the political prisoners who made the mistake of going to his rally on Jan.6. He owes them at least that much.
They’re not political prisoners. Some of them broke into the Capitol building, destroyed property, attacked police and went places the public is not allowed to go. I’m sympathetic if people swept up in the crowd ended up in prison, especially the DC prison, but even they aren’t political prisoners.
The actual number of politically persecuted is much higher than the 642 from J6.
Let’s not forget all the voters who were disenfranchised by the Stolen Election, the people who’ve been denied digital platforms and banking services, the people racially discriminated against by affirmative action, the people denied their constitutional rights to assemble and speak freely, the people who’ve had their memorial statues toppled, and the people being forced out of employment by unjust woke laws that say their views are unacceptable.
Consider the tragedy of the many country churches I have seen in rural NC, WV and Florida who fly the Israeli flag outside their doors.
The last shard of hope I held onto was that The Donald would pardon the lot of them on the last day of his term.
He had so much loyalty and squandered it so carelessly. Even the “politics of protest” can’t work if the Man of the Hour chooses golfing over loyalty to his supporters. That makes my head spin. In defense of Trump, he believed his supporters had the right under US Constitution to address their grievances. He was misled by turncoats in almost everything he did. I disagree.
My definition of “political prisoner”[PP] is wider than many.
A PP is one who is pursued by the executive for imprisonment, often by directly or indirectly interfering in the judicial process.
Being a PP may or may not have anything to do with any “crime” (cf Assange).
A symptom of political interference is when a class of persons or an individual receives treatment extremely inconsistent with similar “crimes” which have no political interest.
Thus, the Jan’ 6 PP’s. Small misdemeanors resulting in no-bail solitary confinement & a literal witch hunt to find persons with even the most tangential & vague relation to events on the 6th.
If these people don’t qualify as “PP’s” then the concept itself is entirely vacated & empty.
If the police had simply stepped aside it would have relieved tension. And there are precedents for the police allowing protestors to have free rein. During the D.C. Kavanaugh protests the authorities stood down and let protestors move through and about the capitol. Over the last several years the Minnesota and Wisconsin capitols saw sustained protests within their walls (occupations in effect) due to the authorities minimizing their own presence to avoid provoking violence from protestors.
Full length streaming videos of Jan 6 are now sadly hard to find, but they reveal that many of the people inside are wandering around in a daze, not acting like crazed rioters, and the actions of individual police/security officials varied widely, with some not really doing anything (there’s a possibility of course that some of them sympathized with the protest). Had the authorities been uniformly cooperative with the protestors things would’ve turned out much better.
Thomas Jefferson had strong words against prosecuting the people (almost all farmers in Western Massachusetts) involved in Shay’s Rebellion against debt “reforms”. The Elites of that time (including many of those of the Constitutional Convention) wanted the insurrectionists dead! Nine were killed and two hung afterwards. His words are instructive. Some of the politicians were Corrupt Clowns back then as well, but nowhere near such a high percentage as today.

There’s another thing, which is, sometimes you’re arrested purportedly for one crime, when the real crime, or “crime”, is quite another.
Al Capone was arrested on tax fraud, but everybody knew they wanted him for something else.
Now, that dude who ran over an Antifa woman who later died of a heart attack, and the Jan. 6 elements accused of vandalism, and Rittenhouse acting in self-defense, they are supposedly being arrested for such crimes, but the real reason is that, they are white/Republican or white/Republican sympathizers, or people on the “wrong” side of an issue.
If the exact same “crimes” were committed by Antifa, Blacks or other protected classes, they wouldn’t be touched. Case in point, that Antifa guy who beat up some Trump supporters and was set free. And the thousand of documented cases of vandalism and murder by BLM.

When I talk about these kind of issues with the predominant statist/Democrat population infesting the DC area, I usually try to suggest that they form a “Committee for Public Safety” so that we can concentrate the deplorables in some sort of camp. It is surprising how many nod in agreement and don’t seem to get the allusions.
Leonard Peltier has been in jail for decades. Probably there are a few others.
And they still do. Anything Trump says or does in support of the 1/6 political prisoners will be used in the next Democrat impeachment proceedings in an attempt to declare him ineligible to run in 2024.
The Dems have discovered that there is no constitutional limit on the number of impeachments that can be brought against an ex-president who threatens their dominance.

1. There were so many law enforcement agencies represented that they ended up arresting each other. One 6 ft 4in riot officer all decked out “a la robo cop” arrested a midget who was tah dah FBI. Surveillance equipment aside, the moron goon mumbled out of the side of his mouth that it was an FBI agent so the audience at home would not hear.LMAO. Every enforcement agency wanted a piece of the action and I am surprised THEY did not end up being the rioters themselves.
2. No doubt we will be entertained by 240 pound Robo goons crying and sobbing in front of Congressional Hearings that they were traumatized. “One protestor looked at me ! This one called me a cunt ! That one pushed me…and he was one of ours…from the DEA. He called me a cocksucker. It was the worse day in my life since my wife ran off with a Mandingo”.
3. Finally, there were FBI agents mingling incognito in the crowd. When the crowd was panned it looked like a great deal more people attended than the media claimed. It looked to me like they had at least 500 supporters in attendance.
