In the JFK administration I was a White House Fellow. In those days it was a much larger program than the small insider program it later became. President Kennedy’s intention was to involve many young Americans in government in order to keep idealism alive as a counter to the material interests of lobby groups. I don’t know if the program still exists. If it does, the idealism that was its purpose is long gone.

President John F. Kennedy was a classy president. In my lifetime there has not been another like him. Indeed, today he would be impossible.

Conservatives and Republicans did not like him, because he was thoughtful. Their favorite weapon against him was their account of his love life, which according to them involved Mafia molls and Marilyn Monroe. They must have worked themselves into fits of envy over Marilyn Monroe, the hottest woman of her time.

Unlike most presidents, Kennedy was able to break with the conventional thinking of the time.
From his experience with the Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Joint Chiefs’ “Operaton Northwoods,” Kennedy concluded that CIA Director Allen Dulles and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Lemnitzer were both crazed by anti-communism and were a danger to Americans and the world.

Kennedy removed Dulles as CIA director, and he removed Lemnitzer as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, thus setting in motion his own assassination. The CIA, the Joint Chiefs, and the Secret Service concluded that JFK was “soft on communism.” So did the Bill Buckley conservatives.

JFK was assassinated because of anti-communist hysteria in the military and security agencies.

The Warren Commission was well aware of this. The coverup was necessary because America was locked into a Cold War with the Soviet Union. To put US military, CIA, and Secret Service personnel on trial for murdering the President of the United States would have shaken the confidence of the American people in their own government.

Oswald had nothing whatsoever to do with JFK’s assassination. That is why Oswald was himself assassinated inside the Dallas jail before he could be questioned.

For those of you too young to have experienced John Kennedy and those of you who have forgot his greatness, do yourselves a favor and listen to this 5 minute, 23 second speech. Try
to imagine anyone among the current dolts giving a speech like this. Look how much is said so well in less than 5 and one-half minutes.

Kennedy intended to pull the US out of Vietnam once he was reelected. He intended to break up the CIA “into one thousand pieces” and curtail the military-security complex that was exploiting the US budget.

And that is why he was murdered. The evil that resides in Washington does not only kill foreign leaders who try to do the right thing, but also its own.

I am French-Canadian, born in a small town north of Montreal that is more French than Paris.

Yet, my parents both learned English, and saw the USA as the shiny city on the hill. Not hard to do, when you live in a backward, religious society. I remember them openly crying when they learned JFK had been shot.

They knew, and so did I, that something awful had happened. It went way beyond your borders. So many dreams died on that day.

“They must have worked themselves into fits of envy over Marilyn Monroe, the hottest woman of her time.”

She was a trashy ho. Just some cheap hick sexually exploited by Hollywood.

Irene Papas was the real deal.

    Who didn’t kill Kennedy?

    Everyone but Oswald.

    ———————

    Oswald did it.

    Gerald Posner proved it.

    The fishy stuff is Ruby.

I think the mafia feared that Oswald would blame them. So, they had Ruby kill him.

    Or, Ruby was a nut.

  4. I’m not saying LBJ was complicit, but there were a lot of people in Texas who had spent a lot of money and political capital advancing his career toward the pinnacle of power, and those industrialists stood to gain a lot from the escalation in Vietnam Nam, so for me it seems like it is no coincidence that the deed was done in Dallas. This scenario would have been even more damning than a CIA-military coup, and is one more likely to have been suppressed by the Warren Commission, since they would have had a vested interest in crushing a deep-state coup before it turned on them in the future.

The more intriguing connection of dots is the alleged Rafael Cruz – Oswald connection, since Rafael attended UT Austin in the early sixties and was a Cuban refugee who could have ostensibly been a mole.

Or maybe Joe DiMaggio had JFK done in for causing the death of Marilyn Monroe. Or Ari Onassis, so that Jackie could be his.

Maybe one day we will know the truth.

  5. Rehmat says:

Even after 52 years, the Jewish-controlled mainstream media is still propagating the story of Lee Harvey Oswald being a lone shooter. However, there are many independent politicians, whistleblowers, authors and writers like former Rep. Paul Findley, Israeli whistleblower Mordecai Vanunu, author Michael Collin Piper, Israeli journalist Barry Chamish, Americam Pastor and journalist Mark Dankof, etc., who believe that JFK could have been a victim of Israeli Mossad as result of a letter JFK wrote to Israeli prime minister Levi Eshkol on July 5, 1963. In the letter JFK insisted that the Zionist regime open Dimona nuclear facility for American inspectors.

The assassination of JFK became a warning for the future generation of American presidents. None of them has ever since mentioned Dimona or Israel’s stockpile of 400 nukes. Barack Obama, Angela Markel, David Cameron, Putin and Hollande never mention Israeli chemical weapons while stripping Syria of its non-active chemical deterrent.

  6. It was clearly Arthur Miller who killed Kennedy. Why wasn’t the cuckolded husband even questioned? Did he even have an alibi?

Now what about the murder of James Garfield. Guiteau even stated ‘I am a Stalwart’, yet not a single Stalwart was even questioned.

  7. Heymrguda says:

Jfk was presented to the world as a family man in excellent health, all of which was complete fiction, as were many other aspects of his administration. This “classy” guy and his brother rfk both used Marilyn Monroe and discarded her llike a used dishrag, and she conveniently got up and died a couple months later. I would not characterize women shared with mafia chieftains, or possible soviet spies, as harmless. All of this was known to the press of that era, but the excuse used was that this was not considered news at that time. The truth was that the press was in jfk’s pocket. He was of course, the first celebrity president.
I have no idealogical axe to grind with jfk, but I would have thought we had moved beyond this mindless worship. Whatever his faults he was certainly a vast improvement over that monster LBJ.

  8. JamesG says:

“JFK was assassinated because of anti-communist hysteria in the military and security agencies.”

Here’s what I find scary. That the person who wrote that sentence once worked in the White House.

  9. I was nine years old and in the fourth grade when JFK was assassinated. I remember the vast outpouring of grief around the world. (Would that happen for a U.S. President today?!)

My father voted for Kennedy in 1960. He was a Navy veteran of WW2 (he served on a destroyer in the Pacific). He once commented about Kennedy, “You’ve got to give him credit for the way he saved his crew after that Jap tin can rammed his boat.”

  10. I doubt that any of the commenters here–especially the stridently, insistently negative ones–took the time to listen to the 5 and 1/2 minute JFK speech that Paul Craig Roberts recommends and links to in his brief but poignant article.

JFK (as Roberts has done) consistently made a case for an informed public, illuminated by a press (now we would say “media”) recognizing its obligation to vent the truth, present all pertinent facts; present, too, conflicting opinions concerning those facts in a balanced, intelligent format that contextualized contemporary events and historical reference points.

In his short speech, JFK mentioned Solon, the “lawgiver” of ancient Athens who criminalized the behavior of citizens who eschewed their responsibilities to be informed and to take part in public debates concerning vital political, economic, military policies.

How far we have fallen into the Abyss–since Solon’s time, since Kennedy’s! Now we live in an Age of Distraction when carnival barkers usurp our public space with sloganeering, name-calling, caterwauling undigested gobbledygook of misinfo and disinfo.

  11. This guy is clinically insane. He should be in a room with his teddy, his crayons and a nice doggie coloring book.

  12. Marcus says:

JFK who coined “nation of immigrants” in a pamphlet sponsored by the ADL? No thanks. He did have some admirable qualities, but I’m not going to shed any tears.
